Business:
David currently serves as a Chair for The Executive Committee Canada (TEC) equipping CEOs, Entrepreneurs and Executives to dare greatly in order to maximize their professional and personal growth. TEC is part of Vistage International the world’s leading CEO support organization operating in over 20 countries around the world. David is recognized as a “Master Chair” within TEC and received the 2015 Red Shoes Award for outstanding Creativity and Innovation in the art of leading leaders.
Prior to TEC, after serving as a sports marketing specialist in the National Hockey League, David began his entrepreneurial journey by establishing MacLean Group Marketing, an international award winning, full-service marketing agency, and MacLean Sports Marketing, a division of MacLean Group which served the promotional needs of professional sports teams across North America. David led MacLean Group for 14 years prior to transitioning out of his agencies. David has spent over 25 years in marketing, sales, communications and leadership.

David created MacLean Sports’ proprietary “Whirly Ads” and the marquee “Promochute” promotion that was named the “Best On-Field Promotion in North American” for 2002.
Community service:
Dave believes in the principle of “prosperity for purpose” and, therefore, has contributed his time, talent and treasure to non-profit organizations, including: Willow Park Church, The Canadian Conference of MB Churches, Hope for the Nations, the African Children’s Choir, World Vision, Child of Mine Foundation, Kelowna’s Gospel Mission, The United Way and the Kelowna Food Bank. He has served on numerous community boards including: Hope for the Nations (Board Chair), the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce (Past President), City of Kelowna Centennial Celebrations committee, Canada Revenue Agency’s Pacific Region Small Business Advisory Council, Women of Distinction Awards judge, Co-chair Okanagan Partnerships Initiative and the Western Canada Fat Cat Children’s Festival.
Global adventure:
For a 2 year period while still leading MacLean Group, Dave and his wife Anne home schooled their sons and led them on a global “educational odyssey”. Their travels took them to 7 countries on 3 continents on more than two dozen trips to over 100 destinations, traveling over 110,000 km. Their educational odyssey, the charitable work they did and the children’s books their sons wrote and published as a result of this experience, received national media attention in Canada.
Personal Life:
David lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. He and his wife, Anne, have been married for over 30 years and have 2 adult sons.
